H. Underwood is an author and bon-vivant. His wild life has taken some
twists and turns. In this fictional story presented as a non-fictional
account, Underwood starts out to explain the trouble he's recently
gotten himself into by publishing classified information, but can't
resist reminiscing about the colorful characters he's known and the
crazy stuff he's done in his life, including his psychedelic experience
at the foot of Uluru with a half-Aborigine man he met by chance and the
time he ran for mayor of Sylvan River as the candidate from the
Pig-F^&*%!#$ party. He wants to tell his story and he holds little
back, such as his disdain for those who stick it to the masses for their
own enrichment and ego gratification. Writing this account is also a
chance for him to be honest with himself about his own mistakes and
delusions. He can hear the river calling and he thinks he may be ready
for the long swim, but first he has a few things to tell the world and
to get off of his chest. Witty and ribald, yet poignant and piquant, his
one is just for the grown-ups...
