Book Description
A young Chinese woman arrives in San Franciso Chinatown on the verge of becoming a mother. In a new land with no family other than her young husband to help her, she is faced with losing her own dreams and her child as nature and evil threaten her world. But when her new friends cannot save her, she must learn that she will go to any length, including giving up herself and her own dreams to save her child and keep evil from spreading.
Set in San Francisco during the 1989 Loma Priets earthquake.
