Children of Sun and Moon was inspired by a combination of Hindu and Indonesian mythologies. It is mythic fantasy set on an alternate version of Earth, one in which Indonesia is dominated by dynasties of Sun, Moon, and Fire worshipping cultures. I loved working on this book so much that I’ve now released an expanded edition offering even more of what readers wanted. This includes an all-new prologue as well as new chapters from additional POV characters.

One of my first reviews of the book remains my favorite: "This book unceremoniously ripped my heart of my chest, took a bite out of it, stomped on it, ran it through a blender, set it on fire, and then spit on the ashes... and I loved every second of it."
