Book Description
The story began with families of Polish immigrants becoming acclimated into American life. The families retained the ways of their old countries.
Those ways were especially restrictive for the children. Paula, a daughter, thought the rules unreasonable. As she matured she began to believe those restrictions were good.
Paula later searched for a husband who could provide her with just such a family life with love, tradition and structure. Her travels took her through Europe.
