Adjust is a book that spreads a great message to everybody, especially teenagers. Adjust touches on different subjects such as bullying, PTSD for soldiers, as well as the societal pressures that high school girls struggle with. One of the main characters, Eric, has just returned from overseas and is trying to learn to live as a civilian, a task he doesn't find very easy. He runs into a boy, Alex, an eleven year old boy who's bullied at school and beaten at home by his father. The friendship and bond that is developed between Eric and Alex lead readers through an emotional roller coaster that keep the pages turning through a strong narrative that will make you feel the characters every pain.
